Revival Is Fun

Every time we have seen a spiritual breakthrough we find a myriad of the unexpected....

I laughingly refer to showers of blessings on Sunday result in mud puddles on Monday....

But in all reality....

Every move of God requires much work....

So while we rejoice in the baptism of 99 souls with many of them experiencing the New Birth....

We work and work hard we do!!!!

Of late I have been praying and leading CUPC in a prayer of unity that there will be no spirit of offense touch our church family....

The enemy would love to divide and conquer just one person in order to circumvent the spiritual victories we are seeing....

But we declare there will be no division or offense....

We are rejoicing in a revival that we have dreamed and prayed for for years.....

Sunday morning we will be celebrating a 100 soul revival and setting the climate for the next 100!!!

I am filled with faith.....

But do not forget....

This type cometh about but by prayer and fasting....

Chains of sin and addiction and failure are being broken in Jesus Name....

Walls of sin and failure and hurt and offense are being broken through...

And...

HE gets all the glory.....

Another Miracle

I wish we had gotten a pic of this couple tonight but alas we did not...

Never the less I witnessed a miracle.....

Tonight at REJOICE our monthly family prayer meeting a couple came forward to testify.....

They were baptized and received the HG sometime the last few weeks.....

They told of being homeless for 10 years until this church took them in.....

Homeless they lived in a tent in the woods.....

But alas the miracle!!!

He got a $14 per hour job a couple of weeks ago....

He bought a truck this week....

He loaded up a gas grill in it to take and cook for the lunch tomorrow....

They are two weeks from a house....

They are gonna get married in a week or so in one of our services....

As soon as they get the house they will get their kids back....

I am on cloud 9 tonight!!!!!!

I know that in the morning we will witness yet another miracle at CUPC

Revival Greetings!!!

The following is my weekly letter to the CUPC family. I try to do a weekly letter but sometimes get side tracked with my ADD. Ha!


Greetings to the most wonderful church family in the world!

Revival fires are burning and truly CUPC is in the middle of the fire! Today Sis Deadra showed me baptismal records for 88 new people since February. Then we baptized 4 today and the total is now 92! To God be the glory. Thanks to each of you for praying and worshipping as we walk into this spiritual breakthrough.

In the midst of revival we have to make some adjustments. Let me caution each of you to lock your cars and be careful. We have had a couple of incidents that are worthy of noting. One purse disappeared and then reappeared. Another set of keys were given to me by a visitor that should not have had them. Ladies please be careful with your purses. Also caution your young children to be careful while in the foyer and restroom during the service. Our ushers do a superb job but we cannot be too careful. I recommend that an adult go with children under the age of 12 to the restroom.

Bus Update: To date we have received approximately $3,100.00. We will need about $500 more to finish the project. Thanks for what you have done. It is now in the paint shop and should be out by the weekend or early next week. This is a miracle for our church. Thank you Jesus!

Sis . Smith and I are traveling to Denver this week for Bro Lafe McKinney’s funeral. We will be back Thursday. Please continue to pray for Kathy as she says goodbye to her husband.

This Sunday night Pastor Gary Wheeler will be with us. I know you will enjoy his ministry. Come with faith believing that yet again the Lord will fill many with His spirit this weekend.

I saw today in the Conroe Courier that The Ark Church is sponsoring a job fair this week. I felt like it would be worthy of mention to some of you who have been looking for new employment. We are praying that the Lord give each of you the perfect job to provide for the needs of your families. Maybe this week we will get word of an employment miracle!

In closing, let each of us be full of faith as we walk in this great revival.

Today our outreach event rained out and we were all very disappointed......

But let not your heart be troubled...

Tomorrow is the Lord's Day.....

And we have yet another opportunity for the miraculous from the Lord.....

What will HE do in our sanctuary tomorrow?

What will HE do in the life of a hungry heart tomorrow?

I am filled with faith knowing that this Lord's day....

HE indeed will come and HIS will will be done....

We will rejoice....
