Manna's Mandate

Ex 16:4Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. KJV

There appears the miracle of manna....

Was not for the feeding of the people...

But rather to prove them....

Whether they could be obedient in the most basic of things....

They had been delivered and brought out of Egypt...

They had a new life and walk....

But now after being brought out of Egypt they murmurred....

God's remedy for murmurring was manna and quail...

To feed them daily....

To prove their obedience....

Daily gathering of manna is the only cure for the sins of the spirit....

Fleshly and carnal sin…lust, resentment etc. Keep the old man pressed down

Murmuring, complaining, gossiping etc can only be remedied with new manna.....

Many want to celebrate the miracle of provision...

However he provides for us with stipulations....

He expects exact following of his plan....

We are to be stewards of his manna...

Stewardship is a mandate if one is to manage manna
